Yay Flickr!

Well, I’m migrating all our photos on our photoalbum site to Flickr. It will take something like 4 days to complete, but it will be nice to have that whole thing offloaded! This picture was the latest upload when I checked it this morning and it is definitely one of my favorite pics. Jaime cracks…

Time keeps on slippin’

Well, I cannot believe that it is February already. January was simply a blur. With a kid being born on New Year’s day, you really don’t get that “Here comes 2006!” mentality. It’s all about the baby and when you finally poke your head up to see what’s happened in the world, it’s February! shish…

Back to Church

Well, we all went to Church today. It was the 2 week anniversary of Emma’s birth, and we figured she was ready to give Church a try. She was great. She ate about an hour before we left, and slept / soothed herself the whole time. She enjoyed the music and such, or at least…

First “real” bath

We gave Emma her first real bath today in the sink. It went pretty well and was a treat for all of us. She smells really good now, and we bundled her up so she could warm back up. We adults really take our ability to retain warmth for granted. 🙂 Also, I posted some…

First Dr. Appointment

Still going!

Another day is passed! Emma’s still alive and kicking, and we are loving her more than ever. That’s always good, I figure… We had a home nurse stop by the house today. Riverview sends a nurse out after a couple of days to answer any additional questions you might have after having the kid home…

It’s a GIRL!!!!

I realize that it has been nearly forever since my last post, but I have been pretty busy and will give you the rundown right now. First, and foremost: Emma Leigh Heacock was born on 1/1/06 @ 2:35AM. She weighed 7lb8oz and was 20in long. My wife and I are very very excited, and not…

Happy Birthday to me!

Welly Welly Welly. I’m Seven and Twenty Years Old this day. How exciting, huh? You really lose track of birthdays/age after about 25, and I think it’s because you no longer have a “next big thing”. Kind of a bummer, but oh well. I thank God for one more year of serving Him on this…
